Advantages of the Ledger Nano X
- Broad cryptocurrency support: The Nano X supports the same currencies as the Nano S Plus, Flex, and Stax.
- Bluetooth and battery for wireless use: This allows you to use the Nano X anywhere, with both iOS and Android devices.
- PC compatibility: In addition to Bluetooth connectivity, you can also easily connect the Nano X to a Linux, Windows, or macOS computer via a USB cable.
- Ledger Live app: With the Nano X, you can use Ledger’s app, Ledger Live, which offers additional features like buying, selling, and staking crypto.
Disadvantages of the Ledger Nano X
- Battery issues: Battery problems and a few bugs were common in the past. However, in newer models, these issues are rarely a concern. The wallet comes with a two-year warranty after purchase.
- Small screen and limited control: Like the Nano S Plus, the Nano X has a small screen and is operated with just two buttons. This can make navigation and transaction processing less intuitive.
Who is the Ledger Nano X suitable for?
We recommend the Ledger Nano X for users who:
- Want to use their wallet with an Android or iOS phone,
- And plan to use this wallet regularly, for example, on a monthly basis.
If you’re interested in the Nano X but only plan to use it with your computer, the Ledger Nano S Plus is also a good choice.
Planning to use your wallet very frequently? Then we recommend the Flex or Stax. Although these are more expensive, they offer significantly greater ease of use. The large touchscreen on the Flex and Stax provides a much more comfortable experience than the smaller screen and two buttons of the Ledger Nano models.
