Protect your crypto investments with SOLIDHODL
Secure your crypto investments and choose peace of mind with SOLIDHODL. Place your 12, 18, or 24 words on a metal SOLIDHODL plate, and voilà, you have a future-proof backup.
When you take control of your crypto, you prevent third-party risks. The first step in this process is acquiring a hardware wallet.
After setting up the wallet, you'll be asked to store your recovery seed. Most people write down the 12-24 words on a piece of paper, but for many, this is often where it stops.
This is a shame! Because BE AWARE: they forget a crucial step: a secure backup for the future and potential risks. The piece of paper where the backup is currently stored is not future-proof.
SOLIDHODL is the solution to safeguard your crypto assets against unwanted risks. SOLIDHODL is:
- Future-proof: the metal SOLIDHODL plate is made of stainless steel, ensuring it's well protected against high temperatures, water, and corrosion. The engraving is embedded in the metal, so everything remains legible even without the ink.
- Simple and clear: with the included Sleeve, you won't get distracted while recording your recovery seed because you can focus on one column at a time. The Engraving Pen is made of hardened steel, making the holes you poke in the metal clearly visible.
- An affordable solution: the Single is already an affordable option, and by purchasing a Double or Triple, you can easily save money if you want to create multiple backups.
All essentials included
When you purchase a SOLIDHODL, you always receive everything you need to record your recovery seed. This includes:
- 1, 2, or 3 SOLIDHODL plates, depending on your choice
- An Engraving Pen with a hardened steel tip
- A Sleeve to prevent errors
- Reference to instructions
How does it work?
A SOLIDHODL plate has engravings on both sides that are filled with black ink. The black ink makes the engraving very clear and readable, but it remains readable even without the ink because the engraving is 0.1 mm into the metal.
There is space on both the front and back sides for 12 words each. Each word has a column, which is also numbered. Each column has four smaller columns containing the poking spots. The sides are marked with A through Z in rows. By poking holes in certain poking spots with the Engraving Pen, you can record one word per column.
It's important to realize that you only need to record the first four letters of each word in your recovery seed. The first four letters of each possible word are unique. You only need the first four letters to recover a wallet.
Thanks to the Sleeve, you can shield a column you're recording a word in from the rest. This way, you won't get distracted by all the lines and prevent errors. After recording your recovery seed, you can optionally give the plate a name in the 'NAME' section. This is for administrative purposes. Afterward, you can store the plate, for example, in a safe.
The box and packaging contain references to the comprehensive manual. Here, you can see a clear guide on how to record your recovery seed in a SOLIDHODL plate using the Engraving Pen and Sleeve.
