Advantages of the Ledger Flex

  • Large Gorilla Glass touchscreen: The main advantage of the Ledger Flex is its large touchscreen, giving you an excellent view of transactions. This makes the Flex much more user-friendly than the Nano S Plus or Nano X. Additionally, the Gorilla Glass makes the screen durable and scratch-resistant.
  • Supports many cryptocurrencies: Ledger is known for its broad support of cryptocurrencies and tokens. The Ledger Flex supports the same coins as the Stax, Nano X, and Nano S Plus.
  • Bluetooth and battery for wireless use: With Bluetooth and a battery that lasts up to 10 hours (or around 150 transactions), you can use the Flex anywhere with your iOS or Android device.
  • Compatible with PC: In addition to Bluetooth, you can also connect the Flex to Linux, Windows, or macOS computers via a USB cable.
  • Ledger Live app: The Flex works with the Ledger Live app, which offers additional features like buying, selling, and staking crypto.

Disadvantages of the Ledger Flex

  • Higher price range: With a price of €249, this wallet falls into the higher segment of hardware wallets. This isn’t affordable for everyone. Consider the Nano S Plus or Nano X as an alternative.

Who is the Ledger Flex suitable for?

The Ledger Flex is ideal for users who:

  • Want to use their wallet on a weekly or monthly basis. The higher price is justified by the added ease of use.
