Advantages of the Trezor One

• Very affordable: The Trezor One is priced at just €49, making it one of the most affordable hardware wallets on the market.
• Color options: The Trezor One is available in black and white. This is helpful if you have multiple wallets, allowing you to easily distinguish between them.
• Bitcoin-only firmware: Like other Trezor models, the Trezor One offers the option to install Bitcoin-only firmware. This ensures your wallet only supports Bitcoin, without extra code for other coins, enhancing security.

Disadvantages of the Trezor One

• No Secure Element: The Trezor One does not have a security chip (Secure Element), which makes the wallet more vulnerable, especially in cases of physical theft. We recommend using the Trezor One with a passphrase (25th word) for added security.
• Small screen: The screen is relatively small, which may make reading information difficult for some users.
• Limited controls: The Trezor One has only two buttons for operation, making interaction less user-friendly than other models.
• Limited coin support: The Trezor One does not support all the coins that other Trezor models support, such as Cardano and XRP. These coins are supported by the Trezor T, Trezor Safe 3, and Trezor Safe 5, for example.
