With the X-Seed Pro you can save a recovery seed in metal without having to engrave, prick or punch it. This is very convenient for people who don't feel like doing this. With the X-Seed Pro you can record your recovery seed. Using the metal laser-engraved letter tiles, you engrave the 24 words of your recovery seed into the storage system.

It is important to keep your recovery seed correctly and protected because your recovery seed is the only way to access your wallet again if you have lost access. For example, because your laptop is broken in case of a software wallet, your hardware wallet is broken or lost or you have lost the access code. Storing the seed online is possible, but gives hackers the opportunity to gain access. For this reason you want to keep the recovery seed offline. This brings a new challenge: how to protect the seed from fire and water damage? You do this by storing the recovery seed in a seed backup like the X-Seed Pro. The letters and the storage system are made of stainless steel 304 and only melt at 1454°C.

There is also an aluminium plate in this package. You can use the engraving pen supplied to record a recovery seed on this plate. In total, you can record two recovery seeds of 24 words with this package.
